“But [remember that an attempt at] requiting evil may, too, become an evil: hence, whoever pardons [his foe] and makes peace, his reward rests with God – for, verily, He does not love evildoers.42:40″
Wajazao sayyiatin sayyiatun mithluha faman AAafa waaslaha faajruhu AAala Allahi innahu la yuhibbu alththalimeena
Through this beautiful declaration from God we can appreciate the wisdom which lies behind the evil acts which are committed against us, in enabling us to bring out our love in attempt to embrace our enemy for seeking the face of the Beloved. Hence we will be actively involved in the process of social reform of society.
Therefore we aught to love evil, not for its evilness but for bringing us closer to the Beloved.

A beautiful and true point, dear Brother
Indeed, in all such acts of evil, there is always the opportunity for goodness in response. The Sufis say that if someone insults you, apologize to him, and so make a friend out of an enemy.
Ya Haqq!
